Island Transvoyager, Inc. (ITI Air) was incorporated in 2002 primarily to transport guests from Manila to El Nido’s award-winning island beach resorts. Our first aircraft was a Dornier 228-212, a 19-seater twin turboprop from Germany. This grew to a fleet of 3 Dorniers by 2010 as El Nido’s popularity skyrocketed among foreign tourists and local upmarket vacationers. In 2012, the Dorniers were officially retired from service and replaced with the French-Italian-made ATR 42-500, a 50-seater twin engine turboprop aircraft from manufacturer ATR. This coincided with the opening of the new remodeled airport in El Nido that was designed to accommodate the larger aircraft.
In 2015, ITI Air became AirSWIFT, the country’s premiere boutique airline designed for inter-island travel to the Philippines’ best island resorts.
